It’s important to note some changes being made with a common refrigerant. The EPA is eliminating refrigerant R-22, which means it will soon be unavailable. Approximately 50% of homes currently use this type of refrigerant in their cooling systems. We recommend addressing minor refrigerant issues now to avoid major repair costs after this refrigerant is no longer available.
